Criminal-jurisdictional activity, being the result of the practical implementation of a certain part of the state powers, which together with the subjects of competence constitute the competence of the Executive and judicial authorities, is associated with the publication and application of the norms of criminal and criminal procedure law.
This monograph is devoted to the understanding of scientific and practical provisions related to the peculiarities of the implementation of criminal law activities in the conditions of digitalization, including taking into account the experience of law enforcement practice in the implementation of criminal prosecution in a number of foreign countries.
The topic of the monograph is dictated by the complexity of tasks that are designed to address the enforcers in the criminal jurisdiction in the framework of implementation of the legal practice of digital technologies. Questions of qualification of the crimes committed with use of information and telecommunication devices, and also crimes which subject are digital entities are considered; specifics of identification, suppression, investigation of crimes with a digital element and criminal prosecution are defined; new methods of investigation of crimes in the digital sphere are offered; process of introduction of information technologies in activity of law enforcement agencies is analyzed; the proposals on improvement of the legislation regulating criminal-jurisdictional activity are formulated.
For lawyers – scientists and practitioners, employees of the judicial system and law enforcement agencies, teachers, postgraduates, students, as well as all those interested in the problems of development of criminal jurisdictional activity.
